Mainframes!
If you are a computer scientist or engineer with a few miles on you (like me), you likely started your computer education with programming on a mainframe computer, like the IBM Systems 360.
Maybe you are old enough to remember programming with punch cards. Maybe you remember timesharing systems like VM/CMS using an IBM 3278 terminal or terminal emulator (anybody remember tn3270?)
This is a place to talk about the old dinosaurs, and maybe even to play with them through emulation or simulation. Heck, maybe even someone collects them, or pieces of them.
