Background & History
I've been intimately involved in computer technology for the last 30 years or so. My academic work was in Electrical Engineering/Digital Design, and Computer Science, and I've held senior engineering and operations positions for the Federal Government and at a variety of technology comanies since the late 1980's.
My interests also span the range of computing, from mainframes to minis to micros, both hardware and software. I am particularly interested in operating systems and programming languages. I am also particularly interested in old mini and micro computing and have amassed a lot of information on the subjects over the years. I hope to make a lot of that available here as I have the opportunity to upload it all.
I've got a pretty good collection of old microcomputer hardware that I keep running here at home. It looks like a big computer lab at my house with machines and wires running everywhere.
