I think I've been doing the computer thing too long. I started with a TI SR-52 programmable calculator in 1976, and have been at it ever since. My first "real" computer was a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1, with 4KB of memory, and a cassette tape recorder for storing and loading programs, which were written in Basic. I was in heaven!
The rest has been downhill.
Now mostly into Unix. I use it every day on my desktop, and my hobby is old Unix systems. I have a few around, running on period hardware.
Recently I've become interested in building real hardware. I've got projects in progress with Arduino and the N8VEM. It's not really retro, but it's fun. I'm looking forward to building and programmng some Arduino robots.
